How to make a cake

To make a medium sized cake you have to proceed like this:

Beat 3 eggs with 200 grams of sugar until you have a smooth and frothy cream, then add 130 grams of melted butter and mix well, at this point sift 250 grams of flour and gradually incorporate it into the mixture, adding a little milk when necessary, complete with a pinch of salt and a packet of baking powder , mix well until you have a uniform and smooth mixture.

Take a baking dish and butter it well, the whole bottom and the edges must be well buttered otherwise it will stick to the bottom and we don’t want this, then add some flour and move the pan so that the flour sticks to the butter.

Pour the mixture into the pan and place in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes, make the toothpick free to make sure it is cooked.

Put the pan at half height inside the oven and do not open it every 10 minutes to see if it is leavening, if it is ready, how beautiful it is etc … you will interrupt the leavening process which must take place at a constant temperature!

Take the cake out , wait 5-10 minutes and then transfer it to a serving dish, sprinkle with icing sugar (use a very thick knitted colander to distribute it well) and voile the cake is ready!

If you want to overdo it and prepare a chocolate cake , add 30 grams of sugar to the base dough you find above and 50 to 80 grams of bitter cocoa , I usually make it very dark, but there are those who prefer it with less cocoa !
